WALKDEN SOUTH LOWEST COVID RATE - BROUGHTON PARK HIGHEST

Salford has 72 new coronavirus cases, up from the previous day's 49, while the seven day rate per 100,000 population now stands at 211.3, down from 222.5. There have been two new virus-related deaths at Salford Royal Hospital.

Meanwhile, a new Government interactive map of COVID cases published yesterday with seven day rolling rates for the week ending 11th February shows Walkden South with the lowest rate at 94.9 and Broughton Park with the highest rate at 478.9.

Salford has 72 new coronavirus cases, up from the previous day's 49, bringing the cumulative total to 21,060. The seven day average of cases in Salford has decreased to 547, down from 576, while the seven day rate per 100,000 population now stands at 211.3, down from 222.5.

Elsewhere in Greater Manchester, the seven day average of cases in Bury is 394 (up from 391), with a seven day rate per 100,000 population of 206.3 (up from 204.7); Bolton 775 (down from 795), with a rate of 269.5 (down from 276.5); Manchester 1,064 (down from 1,119), with a rate of 192.5 (down from 202.4); and Oldham 425 (down from 449), with a rate of 179.2 (down from 189.4).
 
Rochdale has a seven day average of cases of 432 (down from 440), with a seven day rate of 194.2 (down from 197.8); Stockport 553 (down from 555), with a rate of 188.5 (down from 189.1); Tameside 443 (up from 417), with a rate of 195.6 (up from 184.1); Trafford 320 (down from 343), with a rate of 134.8 (down from 144.5); and Wigan 581 (down from 586), with a rate of 176.8 (down from 178.3).
