Salford has 72 new coronavirus cases, up from the previous day's 49, bringing the cumulative total to 21,060. The seven day average of cases in Salford has decreased to 547, down from 576, while the seven day rate per 100,000 population now stands at 211.3, down from 222.5.
Elsewhere in Greater Manchester, the seven day average of cases in Bury is 394 (up from 391), with a seven day rate per 100,000 population of 206.3 (up from 204.7); Bolton 775 (down from 795), with a rate of 269.5 (down from 276.5); Manchester 1,064 (down from 1,119), with a rate of 192.5 (down from 202.4); and Oldham 425 (down from 449), with a rate of 179.2 (down from 189.4).
