GREATER MANCHESTER IS SETTING UP A DEDICATED COURT FOR COVID FINES

Star date: 19th November 2020

NEIGHBOURS RATTING ON EACH OTHER FUEL LOCKDOWN COMPLAINTS

Yesterday, Beverley Hughes, Greater Manchester's Deputy Mayor for Policing, Crime, Criminal Justice and Fire, announced that a special court dedicated to non-payment of Fixed Penalty Notices for breaking lockdown rules will be set up in the near future.

Greater Manchester Police has issued around 370 Fixed Penalty Notices since 5th November, and Hughes revealed that there are "a growing number of what the police are eventually finding are malicious complaints between neighbours who are in dispute".

Greater Manchester is to set up a dedicated court to deal with those who have had Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) for breaking COVID lockdown and Tier 3 restrictions but haven't paid them.

At yesterday's Greater Manchester Mayoral press conference, Beverley Hughes, Greater Manchester's Deputy Mayor for Policing, Crime, Criminal Justice and Fire, said that she didn't want to see people in prison but those who don't pay the fines "will be dealt with". In September, Hughes revealed that less than half of FPNs were not being paid.

Since Lockdown 2 began on 5th November, there have been 370 FPNs issued by Greater Manchester Police, most in the last week (200+), while COVID-19 incidents have reduced slightly, from 1,100 to just under 900. There have also been forty police visits to supermarkets over the last week for breaches of restrictions, with a similar number of takeaways visited.

The majority of FPNs were issued for multiple household mixing, large gatherings and what Hughes called "a growing number of what the police are eventually finding are malicious complaints between neighbours who are in dispute".

The police now have 'COVID cars' in each area that go out to incidents "with enforcement there if it's necessary"...

Rossi is like the character Colin Robinson in the series "what we do in the shadows". He is an energy vampire , who thrives by draining people of their energy by being boring or frustrating. That is why Rossi posts up on here. It makes you wonder what he did Pre Salford Star.

I know what you're saying Wrote, sure I do. You see, you're talking sense. You're not being led by a carrot on a stick, like some donkey. This is the thing. What Covid has shown is that there are lots of donkeys in this country, and that we as a nation, we operate in the realm of farce, while the people at the top, the faceless sons and daughters of robber baron capitalism, shovel the taxpayers money into their own bank accounts hand over fist. Yep, that's right. And people never learn. We all go along, just like before. We are puppets. We are muppets. The Government brings in absurd rules and regulations ... and the Sheeple follow. Covid Marshalls are going around Gloucester showing people Yellow Cards. If they show you a Yellow Card twice, they call the cops and you get a fine. And nobody questions this insanity. It's like an Ealing comedy, with Alec Guinness playing thirty five roles. Then you have testing centres, that are always empty - except for the high viz vest wearing security guards ... and you have the shambles of the false positive tests, where people have sent off a test that they've dipped in water rather than saliva, and it's come back positive ... You also have the shady businessmen that the Government have given millions to in order to source PPE, and been ripped off by, suprise suprise ..... And groups such as G4S, who seem to fail at everything, being given humungous taxpayer funded contracts ... and then you have Chancellor Sunak refusing to say whether his hedge fund still has loads of money invested in Moderna, the company that is making the vaccine that the Government will spend billions on ... After all of this you read something in the newspaper yesterday that sums it all up. Apparently there have been just eight more deaths from all causes this year, compared to last year.

I wish they were this hot on real crime!! Burgled, no police visit. Get threatened with a weapon by an attempted burglar, no police visit. Mugged, no police visit. I bet if I go to the shop without a mask I will get a police visit. Complete joke, the whole thing. Sad thing is, the joke is on us. By the way, the tests they use are inaccurate, more evidence coming out that they are giving positive results even when someone hadn’t swabbed. Money and jobs for the boys.

SALFORD STAR – 15 YEARS OF ATTITUDE AND LOVE XXX

The Salford Star closes tonight after 15 years of giving the community a voice, holding power to account and bigging up all the great things that have happened in the city.

Thousands of people in Salford have been involved in one way or another with the Star and we'd like to thank them all. Salford is a very special city and, hopefully, we've given it a very special community publication.

SALFORD STAR CLOSURE: HOW SALFORD COUNCIL TRIED TO BLOCK AND DISCREDIT THE STAR

THREATS, LIES, FEAR AND LOATHING IN SALFORD...

Today, the Salford Star shuts down but we write this article as a warning to others who may follow on the pitfalls of founding a genuine publication that aims to give the community a voice and hold public bodies up to account.

They will try to discredit you, block information and shut you down. Here the Salford Star editor, Stephen Kingston, looks at how democracy perished badly under the Salford mayoral system.

Today sees restrictions eased and the first whiff of freedom in over a year. It's also the final coronavirus bulletin from the Salford Star which is closing. Here we look back over 14 months of the pandemic and the absolute communication failings of Salford City Council and its City Mayor.

THEY WILL TRY TO DISCREDIT YOU...TO BLOCK YOU, TO SHUT YOU DOWN

We are almost at the final closure of the Salford Star but we write this article as a warning to others who may follow on the pitfalls of founding a genuine publication that aims to give the community a voice and hold public bodies up to account.

They will try to discredit you, block information and shut you down. In South America they just blow up the offices of journalists that don't play the game. Here they just financially assassinate you...

SALFORD STAR CLOSURE – GUY GRIFFITHS ON THE HUMAN COST OF PATHFINDER DEMOLITIONS

Star date: 16th May 2021

THE HUMAN COST OF REGENERATION

The Griffiths brothers of Higher Broughton are kind of infamous as the only people to be forcefully evicted from their house as part of the Pathfinder 'housing market renewal' project during the first decade of the 21st Century.

Here, Guy Griffiths, now living in 'sunny' north Wales and one of the main inspirations for the Salford Star's creation, writes the second part his own personal view of the Government project that devastated communities throughout Central Salford.
