SALFORD BREXIT VOTERS WANTED FOR UNIVERSITY ONLINE SURVEY

Star date: 15th October 2017

EU LEAVE VOTERS RESEARCH

Salford University researchers would like to hear from the city's 'leave' voters about their 'experiences of living in Salford, and their hopes and fears for Brexit'. They've set up an online survey which should take around 15 minutes to complete.

Full details here...

University of Salford social science researchers, Dr Laura Connelly and Dr Tina Patel, are looking to capture the views and experiences of 'Leave' voters in Salford.

"We're really keen to hear about their views and experiences of living in Salford, and their hopes and fears for Brexit" they say "It's important we understand why 63% of Salford residents voted Leave."

All responses are anonymous and confidential, and the results will be fed back to the Salford community and Salford City Council, and published in academic journals.

If you voted 'Leave' you can find the survey at: https://salford.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/2016-eu-leave-vote-salford

Or click here

On the first page of the survey there is also contact details for the researchers if any further details are needed.

As a fair minded Brexiteer, I can also take in the veiws of of the pro european gang. I guess their comments about the brexiteers having a lot of politically in-correct veiws may have some truth in it. Brexiteers that i have spoken to do, in general, tend to be more in-correct politically than labour and green voters, but only slightly. If the labour party in salford had a campaign to get their biggoted supporters not to vote for them, then i believe they would never get elected in salford. Anyway, what about the Beast of Bolsover, good old Denis Skinner. He is the only MP in the house i would vote for. He is a confirmed Brexit man. Go and call him what you like, but be prepared to get more back.

There is no legal impediment to withdrawing Article 50 immediately - just political. The Referendum was advisory and in a parliamentary democracy we are perfectly entitled to change our minds in the light of new information. This country is and has always been a sovereign state and our elected representatives have the power to stop this madness NOW. Brexit hater, the establishment don’t want Brexit ,and I wonder why. Amazing how people of Salford don’t have a say in how Salford is run, by labour councillors on our door step, yet people are willing to hand uncontrolled power to Brussels, remember during the debate on Brexit, Nigel farage said that the EU was going to have its own army, it own finance minister, points the nick Clegg denied, but only a few months ago junker made it part of his EU speech, so what are you going to do Brexit hater when your son/daughter gets their call up papers to do 2/3 years National service for the unelected beurocrats in the EU, also remember the EU started as a trading block and everyone who said this was the start of a United States of Europe was derided as wearing tinfoil hats, but the tinfoil hat brigade were right. Brexit hater, what have you and all the other remoaners have to fear, this country has nothing to fear from Brexit, this country has always had it back up against wall, we’ve had wars, invasions, depressions, plagues and they’ve always made us stronger. Time for you remoaners to think positive instead of always thinking negative as you always do, this is GREAT BRITAIN time for this country to stand on its own two feet and think big. We don’t need to become an insignificant region in the United States of Europe, were bigger and better than that, we have a proud history and culture. We are GREAT BRITAIN and proud of it.

Brexit is an establishment con and makes no sense whatsoever. Do you think Brexit advocates Nigel Farage, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Rupert Murdoch, Paul Dacre, Lord Rothermere, Aaron Banks, Katie Hopkins, Dondald Trump or Vladimir Putin give a toss about people in Salford? Of course they dont. We in Salford will be poorer for it and the sooner its stopped the better.

@ both Paul’s, spot on, first Paul correct, but it is in the magna carter that said that no foreign country can rule England, I listened to a guest that was on Jon gaunt on, on line Radio at talk2meradio who was an expert on British law, manarchy and the magna carter, he was saying as you said we can walk away, it was treason the took us in to this slavery block,. It is also interesting that ted heath who signed us up to joining this nazi EU. in light of the investigation in to ted heath on child grooming, for which the establishment are trying to cover up, was the real reason he took us in to the eu more to do with him being black mailed over child grooming by the establishment at the time who wanted us in the eu and now the establishment don’t want this to come out

A survey by people who don't care for the people of Salford nor their views, But rather looking for bigots so you can say were racists. A survey by people training to be journalists but have a zero tolerance on speaking about ex-pupils and their views as to why. A Survey by people training to be solicitors but get triggered by free speech and halloween masks. Your no good to anyone from salford in court if your triggered or shut-up that easy snowflakes.

The University needs to look at wether being in the EU was legal from the start . Doing surveys on IN and OUT doesn't make sense . This just stirs up more anger as 17 normal people new the implications of the EU. Please can you read below what the EU was about and would appreciate the University to look into it and see if it is false . If it is not let's have a survey on how bent every PM is since signing . By John OBrein Dear all, did you realise that our membership of the EU is actually illegal, and that we could have walked away at any time without the referendum in 2016? It's simple. All Theresa May has to do is declare the 6 Treaties null and void under the English constitution. The 1688 Bill of Rights requires that NO sovereignty can be surrendered to a foreign power except in case of defeat in war. Therefore the 1972 European Communities Act and all EEC/EU Treaties are illegal. But Theresa May won't do it. Why? Because it would require her, and Parliament, to admit that every Prime Minister since Ted Heath and every parliament thereunder was GUILTY OF TREASON against the British people and the Monarch. There are very VERY many people who know this, and many who know the total charade Theresa May is enacting with her ridiculous Brexit 'negotiations'. WE ARE NOT LEGALLY IN THE EU. We do not need to negotiate. We can simply walk away, but parliament REFUSE to admit to their culpability. Even UKIP won't admit this publicly - I wonder why....."? For the benefit of the scholars amongst you, please read this. What about the pre-amble to the 1972 European Communities act? The public were never told the truth about what the membership of the EEC entailed. Heath went ahead and signed the 1957 Treaty of Rome before the 1972 Act was made without getting permission to commit to political union as embedded in the Treaty of Rome, which I have read. This despite the letter from Lord Kilmuir stating clearly that there were grave consequences potentially for the sovereignty of the UK. Heath then enacted the 1972 Act again without any reference to the UK public - the Bill of Rights effectively required the public to AGREE to give away their sovereignty (eg via a referendum) something Heath and every other politician since knew they would never agree to. So he went ahead anyway and lied to the public about what he had done. Health lied on TV about the effect in the run up to the 75 referendum saying there would be no impact on sovereignty from a vote to stay in the single market, which he knew there would be. He knew that by signing the 1957 treaty of Rome he had committed the UK to an almost irrevocable federalism - to become a province of the eventual European Union. This has been perpetuated and deepened by every single administration since. Only Margaret Thatcher ever regretted her actions, realising too late what she had done. Read Vernon Coleman's article on the legality of the EU and the letter from Lord Kilmuir. You can find that on the English Constitution Group website by googling 'Lord Kilmuir letter' And for the even more scholarly, see if you can track down the Emergency Orders In Council procedure - the process by which Acts can be repealed almost immediately by assent by the PM, the Monarch and 3 privy councillors acting together. Then ask yourself why Theresa May never used this process and nor did anyone else. Please do share to those who don't know this. All you need to do is copy the text, then paste it to your own timeline and with friends or any groups you are in.

SALFORD STAR – 15 YEARS OF ATTITUDE AND LOVE XXX

The Salford Star closes tonight after 15 years of giving the community a voice, holding power to account and bigging up all the great things that have happened in the city.

Thousands of people in Salford have been involved in one way or another with the Star and we'd like to thank them all. Salford is a very special city and, hopefully, we've given it a very special community publication.

THREATS, LIES, FEAR AND LOATHING IN SALFORD...

Today, the Salford Star shuts down but we write this article as a warning to others who may follow on the pitfalls of founding a genuine publication that aims to give the community a voice and hold public bodies up to account.

They will try to discredit you, block information and shut you down. Here the Salford Star editor, Stephen Kingston, looks at how democracy perished badly under the Salford mayoral system.

SALFORD STAR CLOSURE – GUY GRIFFITHS ON THE HUMAN COST OF PATHFINDER DEMOLITIONS

Star date: 16th May 2021

THE HUMAN COST OF REGENERATION

The Griffiths brothers of Higher Broughton are kind of infamous as the only people to be forcefully evicted from their house as part of the Pathfinder 'housing market renewal' project during the first decade of the 21st Century.

Here, Guy Griffiths, now living in 'sunny' north Wales and one of the main inspirations for the Salford Star's creation, writes the second part his own personal view of the Government project that devastated communities throughout Central Salford.
