Today saw three demonstrations against Conservative Government policies as hundreds of protesters gathered outside the entrance to the Central Conference Centre (GMex) to show Tories that they are not welcome in Manchester.
First up was the angry Disabled People Against The Cuts protest, which saw delegates including Michael Heseltine, Simon Weston and Boris Johnson pelted with play balls, footballs and beach balls as campaigners symbolically showed their feelings.
Next up, a giant Trojan horse was inflated outside Manchester Town Hall as part of the `Say No To TTIP' campaign, while, in the afternoon, students had a `debt-in', lying down in the road in full view of smirking delegates wayching on from within the Conference complex.
Meanwhile, a bee made delegates aware of its potentially endangered species status and a giant white aircraft `protested against London's 3rd runway. Another huge day of protest as people were determined to Take Back Manchester...
