In the spectacular setting of St James Church - opposite ASDA in Higher Broughton - the first Broughton Christmas Market is set to be launched over three days this week, from Thursday to Saturday.
There'll be over thirty stalls selling reasonably priced Christmas presents and more, including original art work, recycled furniture, pre-loved clothes and hand crafted jewellery.
The Market isn't just about the stalls, it's more of an event organised by the Salford Involved charity, with Santa's Grotto, musicians, a beer tent, hog roast, Caribbean food, mulled wine, a lighting display and a community space too.
While crowds flock to the expensive markets in Manchester, the Broughton Christmas Market provides a less expensive and hassle-free alternative...and it's open until 8pm.
