Tomorrow night, from 7:30pm, Creative Rebellion will be putting on an event with a community difference at The Kings Arms...
Creative Rebellion - `Reclaiming music for the masses' is a co-op based in North Manchester that "will support and nurture local cutting edge bands and artists that can have a positive influence on the people of Greater Manchester", under the mantra "The art of rebellion is never more effective than through creativity. Be it singing, dancing, poetry, or any such endeavours..."
Being true to their words, the event at The King's Arms tomorrow night features a band, a comedian, a poet and an artist creating an interactive banner.
Jeramiah Ferrari fuse reggae, rock, ska and punk to create their own unique sound, and their last release, The Dubby Rock EP, hit number 4 in the Itunes Reggae Charts. They've played festivals all over the place, supported some of the biggest names in ska on tour and are well worth seeing. Tomorrow's gig launches their new self titled album Jeramiah Ferrari.

Also on the bill is Thomas Sheridan. We'll let him explain what he does..."I bring satire and comedy into my work to off-set the dark forces which are behind most of the misery we are subjected to. I am not interested in being in anguish all the time or doing fear porn. I have a special pair of glasses I observe the world with: One lens is set to Carl Jung and the other lens is set to Spike Milligan. I want to inform people, but also make them laugh...so feck em, if they can't take a joke."
Poet, Sean Maguire, will be appearing too... "He calls himself a simple poet and maybe he is! But don't be deceived" says the blurb "There is a wealth of wisdom between the lines of every poem in there. Socially aware and telling it straight from the heart he is as simple as he is deep. He makes you look at things with the beginners mind, as though you must look once more with a fresh approach to see the beauty or relevance of what may have been previously missed, just as we should view every moment in life..."
Joining them will be Creative Rebellion's Jackie Stewart inviting people to join in her banner making session, all themed around the vibe of the night....
Sound great?
