What’s your real name?
People called me Ads but when I’m MCing it’s The Unexpectable
How old are you and how long have you been MCing?
I’m 28 and have been doing it for around 16 years. I love MCing, Hiphop’s my life.
What got you into it?
There was nothing really to do when I was a kid and hiphop is like the language of the street so I was writing at an early age and that got me into it. It was a cool thing to do as well.
Is MCing hard?
It can be, it’s a learning curve – the more you do it the more capable of doing it you become.
Why are you called The Unexpectable?
Because you don’t expect what’s about to happen, the element of surprise.
What’s your album called?
The Great White Hope because I am the great white hope…Hiphop’s mainly a black man’s music, and for a white man like me to come into the game and do my thing, it’s hard, people expect you to follow in the footsteps of Eminen I’ve been doing it as long as Eminen and all those but I’ve got to my own things to settle and make my own mark.
Are you as good as Eminen ?
I’m just as good, I wouldn’t say better but I can stand next to him, yeah…

Indie rock
What’s your names?
Dave the bass player, Moose lead singer, Paul the drummer and Kev the guitarist.
What are you going to do at Party In The Park?
Dave: We’re going to rock, blow the place to pieces and we’re just going to have a great time – and we’re well looking forward to it.
Have you got any records coming out?
Dave: Yeah, we’ve got an album coming out in January but we’ve just released an EP which you can get at www.sugarwoodmusic.com and we’re going to be selling them on the day with t-shirts.
Have you done any gigs?
We’ve done loads and some festivals and played here last year.
Did that tattoo hurt when you got it done?
Moose: yeah but don’t tell anybody…

What kind of poems do you do?
I do poems about things in everyday life, like jumble sales and cups of tea and mums.
Where have you performed before?
I’ve performed in London and I did a tour of Ireland and I’ve performed in lots of places like horrible sweaty pubs and big exciting festivals and posh theatres and boring libraries.
What will you be doing on the day?
I’ll be performing poems for everyone.
Jackie will be performing on the big stage throughout the day with lots of other poets…
