UFO SPOTTED OVER SALFORD PRECINCT
|
On Tuesday night a UFO was seen blazing over Salford Precinct at around 10pm. Eye witness, Rachel, has described it as "a bright orange light, like a fire ball moving at a steady space. It was really weird".
It wasn't the sun by any chance? There's been similar spottings in Irlam a few nights before and all over Geater Manchester recently. There was even an `encounter' in Eccles last year.
Rachel has logged the alien visitors on the UK UFO Sightings website and asked for any other witnesses. If anyone else saw the `bright orange light' please register it at

| hi we just saw an orange flame like thing in the sky over our house and was really confused and curious about what it was it was obviously not a plane or a helicopter, so we typed in the internet to see if anyone else has seen it and was shocked to read this thread to see that it has happened on earlier occasions |

| I was at the corner of langworthy Road & Eccles Old Road late last night.
I saw a Red Light, this was quickly followed by an Amber coloured light immediately below it.
Then MYSTERIOUSLY these lights disappeared, and a Green one took their place, slightly lower.
I have to tell you, I just put my car in gear and drove away from there! |

| Hi,
saw a single orange ball last night at about 7.45-8pm... was travelling away from Salford precinct towards Forest Bank. I couldn't look as was driving... Caught a glimpse, gf had a bit of a longer look.
Could have been a lantern?! Height was very hard to judge... didn't seem to be as high as an aeroplane. not an aircraft... no flashing lights just a constant orange.
kind of weird. |

| The same thing happened over Eccles Old Road last night (Friday 5 February) only one orange light but it moved at speed, I saw it moving for around 5 mins over Hope High moving towards Hope Hospital. When I got home I could still see it on the far side of the house, I ran in to show my partner but when we got back outside it had gone. |

| On Wednesday 9th December I seen two orange balls similar to what is being described here travelling north over what I think would be Sale. I was leaving the JJB Soccerdome at about 9:00pm. At first I thought planes, then noticed the lights were orange, there were no wing marker lights and there was no discernable sound. I too at first thought Chinese Lanterns, but the speed with which they were travelling was to great and they moved with purpose, not with the wind like a lantern would. They also stayed a uniform distance from each other. I put my car key into the door to open it and looked up and both of the lights had disappeared. They were strange in appearance, like they were shimmering but with a quicker frequency than say fire. I have seen a meteor before and this was definitely not a meteor as it was travelling much slower and in a trajectory parallel to the ground. After the massive sighting in China in August I think it's time our governments came forward and talked about Disclosure. |

| I saw a fireball type of object on the 5th of november to floating over lower kersal, it looked as though it was traveling towards manchester and I my sister saw the same thing, it was not moving to fast. At first I thought it may have been a cinder off a bonfire but until my friend on facebook last night was asking people if anyone had seen a siumilar object last night. I think someone should look into this as its getting to be seen alot latly. |

| Tonight over manchester i saw an orange ball moving at speed, pretty much the same as what most people are describing on here. I have no idea what it was but i know it was not a plane or helicopter as there no noise and it had small orange sparks coming from it.

| i live in leeds 11 beeston, i saw a bright orange round object i run to the my open window, thinking i was seeing things. over my way all helicopters are loud and im on the flight path of plenty of noisey aeroplanes. but this object was moving faster than any jet, plane or helicopter, plus there was no noise whatsoever. i thought it may have been a shooting star but it was going across the sky in a perfect straight line. and it travelled a distance of a few miles in a matter of minutes, i would love an explanation to what it was. |

| On Saturday the 12th of September, in Winton, Eccles, me and my family were watching TV, when my son noticed a fire ball like object, about the size of a car window, floating over our neighbors house, at this point it was around 20m off the ground, it then gradually ascended, until it was as big as a star in the sky, then suddenly, disappeared. After this, we went out in the car and at Patricroft bridge, it appeared again, the same object going in the opposite direction to the one we saw earlier. This was very strange! |

| I recently saw a UFO in salford. It was moving very fast so I can't be sure but it seemed to have blue lights on top of it and was making a strange whooping, waling kind of sound. My friend swears it was a polcie van, which would make sense I suppose as it was heading away from salford at speed. I pointed out that that would make it an Unidentified Fleeing Object however, so I can only assume it was something not of this world. Like Hazel Blears. |

| I saw it. From my view point it seemed to be somewhere over Seedley Park, maybe Buile Hill High. Appeared to be tall and round (like a slightly squashed coke can) with dark horizontal stripes. Just sitting there at about 500-1,000 feet. I hasten to add it could have been much nearer and much smaller. I watched it for a few moments, it didn't do anyhting. If I had to guess, I'd say it was an illuminated hotair balloon. |

| Hi, everyone. I'm originally from good old Salford where I was born ( in Hope Hospital ) but I moved to Leeds ( for my sins ) in 1986.
Earlier this year I too saw a UFO which I would describe as being the same, or similar, to the one spotted over Salford Precinct. I was in Kirkstall and I watched as it flew in the direction of Bramley, and beyond. It could have well ended up in the Salford/Manchester area by the direction of its flight. We Are Not Alone! |
