Sounds From The Other City
Sunday May 2nd 3pm-3am
This Sunday sees the return of Sounds From The Other City – a 12 hour delicatessen of new music set in Salford's pubs, clubs, churches and community centres dotted around the Crescent and Chapel Street.
At the Rovers Return the Salford Music Cooperative - which aims to unite, promote and support Salford's musicians – is hosting a free seven hour event featuring the city's up and coming bands and singers. It's well worth supporting and it's free.
Elsewhere, there's gigs at Islington Mill, The Kings Arms, St Philips Church, The Angel Centre, The Old Pint Pot, The Crescent, The New Oxford and The Black Lion. There's way too much going on to list it all but click here for full details…
A ticket for everything is £15, but the Salford Music Co-op gig is free.
